WRITING ABOUT YOUR WORK
with Liz Sales

Writing About Your Work is a practical webinar on brainstorming, drafting, editing, and refining artist statements. Through exercises and examples, participants will develop strategies that deepen and clarify their work without relying on academic jargon or inaccessible language.
The workshop tackles common challenges, such as overcoming the blank page and adapting writing for different audiences and contexts, including websites, open calls, exhibitions, festivals, residencies, grants, and other opportunities.
Participants will leave with new approaches for starting and sustaining artist statements, and greater confidence in expressing their creative vision authentically.
