DONATE A WORKING FILM CAMERA AND GET A TAX DEDUCTION + ONE FREE YEAR OF FILTER PHOTO MEMBERSHIP

Your old film camera has one more story to tell.
During the month of February, Filter Photo is collecting film cameras in support of Columbia College Chicago’s School of Visual Arts Photography Program — a dynamic curriculum that introduces students to a spectrum of creative practices.
Within the new program, analog photography and traditional darkroom practices play a vital role in teaching students the foundations of light, timing, and process.
Your donated 35mm single-lens reflex, 35mm rangefinder, or medium-format 120 film camera doesn’t need to be like new. If it worked the last time you used it, Columbia College Chicago will give it a new purpose!
With your donation, you'll receive a free, one-year Filter Photo membership at the Individual level. Check out the perks of membership.
Whether you’re making space in your studio or passing along trusted gear, your donation will empower the next generation to explore the visual arts in bold, new-again ways.
