Please join us in our mission to support photographic artists and to share the benefits of our programming with a wider audience.

Your contributions help fund exhibitions and informative programming year-round.  The majority of programming during the annual Filter Photo Festival is free and open to the public as is so much of what Filter Photo offers to photographic artists and patrons throughout the year – from Artist Talks by leading photographers to our popular Photography Book Club, Filter Photo creates programs that support photographic makers and those that simply love photography.

New initiatives at Filter Photo include the High School Initiative Project which began in 2018 with four students attending the annual Filter Photo Festival from area Chicago Public Schools.  The students receive two professional portfolio reviews each as well as participate in Roaming Reviews and attend the daily Artist Talk.  Students have joined us from Nicholas Senn High School and The Chicago High School for the Arts (ChiArts). When you donate to Filter Photo your contribution supports this initiative and allows these students to gain valuable professional exposure and experience.

The Community College Scholarship Fund specifically supports students pursuing degrees at local community colleges.  Scholarships provide opportunities for students to supplement their education with professional workshops and masterclasses at Filter Photo or to engage in a series of professional portfolio reviews.

Support these mission-driven initiatives at Filter Photo as well as our international exhibition and artist talk programs with your tax-deductible donation.
