Join Filter Photo executive director, Jennifer Murray for a workshop designed to introduce artists to writing a project proposal.  Artists often need to submit proposals to galleries for solo exhibitions and book publishers.  Learn how to present yourself and your work successfully in a standard proposal format.  Topics covered will include what to include in your written statement, artist bio, as well as choosing images to best support your proposal.

This workshop is ideal for emerging photographers, recent graduates, new practitioners, and those making a shift from commercial to fine art work as well as those planning to submit to Filter Photo’s current open call for exhibition proposals.

The focus will be on developing a strong project statement that is cohesive and choosing images that best support your application. This is not a critique-based workshop, no portfolios will be reviewed.
