PHOTOBOOK PUBLISHING FROM THE INSIDE OUT

In conjunction with El Jardín de Senderos Que Se Bifurcan, join us for a conversation with the artist, Tarrah Krajnak, and Shawn Bush, the founder of DAIS books who is publishing Tarrah's forthcoming monograph.

Their discussion will focus on making the process of publishing a photobook more transparent, from the perspective of both the publisher and the artist. Some of the topics they will discuss include whether a photobook is right for you, how to decide edition size, how to contact publishers with your project, and what to expect when working together—including costs and who pays for what. In the latter half of the conversation, they will open up the floor to answer publishing-related questions from the audience.
