REBECCA SCHLOSSBERG

Exhibitions Manager, Department of Photography, Art Institute of Chicago

Rebecca Schlossberg curates and manages exhibitions in the Department of Photography  at the Art Institute of Chicago. She has organized solo exhibitions of the work of Carissa Rodriguez, David Hartt, and Philippe Parreno, along with several permanent collection presentations. Rebecca has managed large-scale traveling exhibitions and publications on Provoke-era photography, László Moholy-Nagy, and Christopher Williams, amongst many others. She previously served as President of the Board of Directors for LATITUDE Chicago. Rebecca received her BA from New York University, and dual Masters degrees in Modern and Contemporary Art History and Arts Administration and Policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.


She is most interested in viewing conceptually driven projects or series. She is less inclined to review commercial photography.
